This mission-equipping class will help our congregation to dive deeper into principles & practices of evaluating our capacity to make a positive impact on those affected by poverty. Those who attend will learn how to discover the assets of our congregation and community and compare and perhaps match assets to the needs of the local community. The result will be a pathway for our congregation to evaluate what best to do or not to do regarding poverty and homelessness, and how to work with those who show up at our door or on our property.
