Jesus’ time in the Garden of Gethsemane is pivotal to the story of salvation, for it is here that Jesus found the loving & courageous resolve to move forward to the cross. At the same time, his prayers spoken there are filled with raw emotion and a sense of deep vulnerability, reminding us that Jesus understands us when we pray amid our own experience of darkness. Because of Jesus’ experience in the Garden of Gethsemane, there is hope when we offer prayers in the dark.
