Missions & Outreach

North Creek's Mission Strategy Team (MST) is dedicated to aiding the countries and cities where we are called to serve. Ensuring that everyone can deepen their spiritual roots in a life-giving relationship with Jesus, sharing God’s Love, and Christ’s hope by making him known near and far.

Advent Fund-Raising Drive for Everett Gospel Mission (EGM)

The Good Neighbor Team at North Creek Presbyterian Church (NCPC) is organizing a special Advent fund-raising effort to support the Everett Gospel Mission (EGM). The goal is to provide Christmas gifts for people experiencing homelessness who are staying at EGM. NCPC members and friends are invited to donate, and EGM will use the funds to purchase gifts for their clients.

There are two ways to amplify the spirit of giving:

1. Donate in Honor of a Loved One: Donors can dedicate their donation to a friend or loved one. In return, they’ll receive a card to send to their honoree, wishing them Christmas blessings and informing them of the gift given in their name. Donations can also be made anonymously.

2. Write a Note of Encouragement: Donors will receive a blank card with the first name of a person at EGM who will receive a gift. They can write a note of encouragement to that person, which will be delivered along with the financial donation.

How to Help:

  • All checks for this drive must be made payable to NCPC, with “EGM” clearly noted in the notes field. Cash donations must be placed in an envelope labeled “EGM” on the front. You can make online donations through the church’s website, ensuring that “EGM” is included in the notes field.
  • Place checks and cash in the offering plate or mail or deliver them to the church office.
  • Writing a card for an EGM client is encouraged, though participation is voluntary. Additionally, making a donation in honor of someone is not mandatory, but it effectively introduces the honoree to the mission of EGM.
  • All donations and completed cards for EGM clients must arrive at the church by December 8th. Please adhere to this deadline.

Donations are requested by December 8th. For questions, contact Jill Johnson at 425-306-1833 or jilljohnson12@comcast.net

Thank you for supporting this effort to bring hope and joy to those in need this Christmas!

Local Missions

  • Our church is committed to serving the interest of public health in our community, assisting the medical community in fighting the coronavirus and bringing healing to the afflicted. Our first step was to respond to an urgent need for blood donations to replenish the blood supply, as donations had dropped off significantly due to coronavirus concerns. In the first few weeks of the epidemic, we offered our church building to Bloodworks NW as a donation station. Nearly 100 people donated blood over two days of operation. As other opportunities to assist public health efforts present themselves, NCPC mission leadership is committed to being an active community servant.

Support Life is a Christ-centered ministry team providing love, support and resources to women of all ages and stages of unexpected pregnancy, past and current, to support them in their physical, emotional and spiritual situation. We partner with other ministries, local and national, to provide resources for women and their support family, to sustain the life and health of the baby and mother.

Psalm 139:13-16 - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

  • The Good Neighbor Team endeavors to share the love of Christ through: 1) Learning about local homelessness and housing instability and sharing findings with our congregation and community; 2) Supporting our neighbors who are experiencing homelessness and housing instability, often through partnering with experienced poverty-alleviation organizations; and 3) Learning and sharing information about proposed state and local law and  regulation changes that could impact housing availability and affordability.

The school, church and most houses in the community have been damaged or collapsed. This earthquake is devastating. Please pray for them and give generously. Relief rarely reach rural areas like Bertrand so our help is much needed. Please make checks to NCPC listing HAITI on the check memo line.
