Care

North Creek Presbyterian Church offers a variety of different ministries to aid in the care of congregation and community.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Social distancing strategies during a pandemic help save lives and preserve health care workers and resources. The downside of distancing is that we become isolated from one another, with fewer opportunities to gather for mutual encouragement. In this environment of isolation, NCPC is committed to caring for its congregation in the following ways:

Weekly Calls from our Deacons.

Our active and reserve Deacons are caring for the congregation by calling and making contact with each member on a weekly basis. When you receive a phone call or email from a Deacon, they may ask how you are doing and offer you words of encouragement and comfort. If you have particular needs, they are equipped to help meet those needs and/or share your need confidentially with the pastors for follow-up. To find and reach out to your assigned Deacon, follow this link and find their name on the list (organized by the first two letters of your last name), then contact them through the information in the church directory (password required).

A Powerful Prayer Chain.

Our email prayer chain has always united us in spiritual fellowship across social distances. Now, more than ever, we need to share our prayer needs with one another. The prayer chain connects us to one another in supportive spiritual friendship, held together in love by our compassionate God. Email your prayer request to ncpcprayer@gmail.com or fill out our prayer request form here
