Maundy Thursday

Thursday, April 17, 7:00 PM

Gather Around the Table

Our Maundy Thursday service will be at 7pm in the sanctuary and will feature the Lord’s Supper.  We remember the last evening Jesus shared with his disciples in the upper room before his arrest and crucifixion.  It marks three key events in Jesus’ last week: his washing of his disciples’ feet, his new commandment to love one another, and his institution of the Lord’s Supper.   The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin phrase for “new commandment,” mandatum novum.

Good Friday Service

Friday, April 18, 7:30 PM

Contemplate the Cross

Good Friday is the day for Christians to commemorate Jesus’ crucifixion, recalling that Jesus willingly suffered and died as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Come and consider the depths of God’s great love for us. Our prayerful contemplation will be guided by the North Creek Choir and inspired by liturgical dancers. Invite your family and friends to join you for this concert-level choral and dance performance.

Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 20 at 8:30 and 10:00 AM

Celebrate the Victory!

The rocks adorning the chancel during Lent will be transformed into Jesus’ empty tomb and the stone that the disciples found rolled away. The theme of the message will be “Risen from the Rock,” an inspirational reminder that even the most immovable of obstacles are no match for God’s forgiving and healing power.

We will have two identical worship services at 8:30 and 10:00 AM, with childcare and kids’ Sunday School at the 10 AM service.

The worship team and North Creek Choir will lead us in lifting our praises to the Lord, culminating in the traditional singing of the Hallelujah chorus.

Invite your family and friends!
