We will have a presentation from Dr. Diana Keuss, world religions scholar. In our community we have neighbors who follow religions other than Christianity, i.e. Islam, Sikhism, & Hinduism– all common in Asia. Dr. Keuss will help us understand these religions so we can be good neighbors who represent Christ’s love in our community.
F3 July 17, Dinner at 6:15 p.m.
Graham Kerr, well-known celebrity TV chef, will share his conversion and his journey from Celebrity to Servant. He will tell how his new mindset has affected his everyday life. His “new way of thinking about food” was a result of his awakening as a Christian in the mid-1970s. His epiphany was in part prompted by the imbalance he had seen in his travels between countries with not enough to eat and those with too much.
F3 August 14, Dinner at 6:15 p.m.
Jeff Kwon, a former member and current supported missionary of NCPC will share about his work, and aspects of the state of the gospel. Jeff is the Director of Member Services with Frontier Ventures, a “protestant religious order” composed of innovators desiring to see God glorified among all peoples, especially the last remaining "unreached" peoples in the world with limited or no access to the gospel.
